Stepping up the fight against child labour
People worldwide are speaking out against child labour and taking various action to raise further awareness of this issue. They are spreading knowledge and act as a voice for the children whose right are not being respected and calling on decision-makers to act urgently to protect the children that are living dangerously worldwide. Children in rural and agricultural areas, as well as children of migrant workers and indigenous people, are most vulnerable to being caught in child labour
“Let Children bloom” is a video that was produced on the occasion of the World Day Against Child Labour 2009, in this video they highlight the role of young people in the campaign and calls for an end to child labour

Also, another project would be the “pinwheel”
The pinwheel represents the fight against child labour. There are 5 blades, which represent the different continents of the world. Keep the pinwheel moving, is the will to act to pass on the message until all countries take actions to end child labour

Since child labour is widespread and very complex, the only way we can shut it down would be to act together, at the same time. On the International Labour Organization site, it was mentioned diverse suggestions on what we can do as a community to fight child labour:
Be aware about the state of child labour in the world, learn and educate yourself. When you’ll be well aware, you’ll be able to raise awareness and inform other people about this important cause. Establish contact with other young people and community groups, who would want to participate. Organize activities, make posters and invite your friends, community to raise awareness about child labour, and how we can stop it when we work together.
On the International Labour Organization, I came across drawing, that children painted to represent child labour, since my goal in this project is to raise awareness about this subject and how us as a society, we can help to end child labour, I will post some of their work bellow. These drawing teach us how child labour affect us more than we would ever think, and that by working together we can put a stop to child labour.
Fair trade products are produced without the use of child labor. By example, when you are going to buy carpets, look for the “rugmark” which signifies that the carpet was not made by children
